We are aware that it is important for you not only to know the popularity and complexity of keywords but also to understand how many installs you will receive. Therefore, based on your requests, we have added an Estimated Installs metric to the Keyword Table, which predicts the number of installs you will receive for each keyword per day and month.

With Estimated Installs metric you will learn how many installs each keyword can bring to your app per month/year.
Estimated Installs in Keyword Table

Estimated Installs are calculated based on the following factors:

  • App position by keyword. The higher it is, the more installs it is likely to get. 
  • Traffic by keyword. The algorithm also analyzes the popularity of a keyword to understand how many users can find your app based on certain queries. 
  • App rating which directly affects the conversion rate and the number of installs.
  • Number of reviews: the more reviews, the more often users install the app. 

It also takes into account the dynamics of the app’s rating and position in the top charts. We use the same algorithm when determining Estimated Installs in the Organic Report, which was added to Asodesk last year. 

The Estimated Installs metric is available on Business and Enterprise plans that include ASO.
