Screenshot specifications for iPhone Duo
Apple published documentation on preparing visual assets for the foldable iPhone Duo — and there’s an important nuance here: this device requires two screenshot formats at once, for the outer and inner display.
For the outer display: 1398×2034 or 2034×1398 px.
For the inner display: 2007×2853 or 2853×2007 px.
For video, only one — already familiar — format is needed: 886×1920 or 1920×886 px.

The ability to upload these assets in App Store Connect will become available later this year — whether they’ll become mandatory has not yet been specified.
Google Play News
Google Play introduces immersive cover art for app pages
Some Google Play partners have gained access to a new visual format — immersive cover art. It’s a gallery of up to 5 images that spans the full width of the screen at the very top of the app page, above the usual screenshots.
The feature is currently available only to select developers and doesn’t support games. Asset requirements: PNG or JPEG, up to 8 MB per image; 1440×1440 px (square) for phones, 3840×1646 px for tablets.

Google recommends using the cover art to tell a story through a sequence of images, choose visuals that differ from your regular screenshots, avoid overloading them with text, and periodically refresh the content for new features or seasonal events.
Similar Apps section gets an editable description
On September 7 (Play Store v53.1), a short description appeared in the Similar Apps section of the app page — one that developers can now set themselves. Previously, this block was entirely passive, with Google deciding what to show there.

Most developers haven’t filled in this field yet.
