ASO news digest for November 2025
Apple has launched a new web version of the App Store with expanded functionality, Google Play has added AI-generated chart summaries in Play Console, and Asodesk has released a major update featuring the new App Profile and Visual Comparison — along with the launch of Black Friday. All key ASO updates from November are covered in our new digest.
App Store News
Browser version of the App Store
Apple has launched a web version of the App Store that lets you view featuring by country.

On the page, users will see a full web storefront that includes:
- Today collections;
- Editorial recommendations;
- Categories and top charts;
- Current events and promotions;
- Updated search interface;
- Expanded app pages with descriptions, screenshots, videos, ratings, and reviews.
A new switcher has appeared in the top-left corner, allowing users to toggle between app stores for different platforms: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro, Apple Watch, and Apple TV.

For ASO specialists, the main update is the ability to view featuring across different countries directly in the browser by changing the two-letter country code in the URL:

Mini Apps Partner Program
Apple has introduced a new partner program for apps that include Mini Apps — built-in web services based on HTML5/JavaScript. Participants in the program can benefit from a reduced 15% commission on in-app purchase sales, provided the app supports the required App Store technologies.

The Mini Apps program is designed to encourage the development of mini-applications on the platform and provide users with a seamless, convenient experience.
Update to the App Review Guidelines
Apple has revised the App Store Review Guidelines and introduced several changes. In particular, developers are now prohibited from using another company’s brand in their app’s name or icon without the rights holder’s permission. Privacy requirements have also been tightened: developers must clearly disclose who receives users’ personal data (including third-party AI services) and obtain user consent for such data sharing.

Google Play News
AI-generated stats summary in Google Play Console
Google has introduced a new feature in Play Console — automatic AI-generated summaries of charts and metrics. The algorithms now analyze key performance indicators of an app and produce short explanations of what has changed, why it might be happening, and which factors may be influencing the dynamics.

Asodesk News
Major Asodesk update: the updated App Profile and the new Visual Comparison tool
In November, we rolled out a major platform update: we redesigned App Profile and introduced the new Visual Comparison tool.
The first screen of App Profile now brings together all the key information — rating, category rankings, popular keywords, and top countries. For easier auditing, we added a large app icon, improved the textual metadata sections, introduced quick actions (Copy, Translate), and included optimization recommendations. App Profile is available via public links, so you can share app information with anyone — even if they don’t have an Asodesk account.

And the new Visual Comparison tool allows users to visually compare app store pages with layout accuracy and styling that closely replicate the real store experience.
